Approved families may be eligible for up to $250 per child in your household. The information you provide on this application will never be shared with Washington State or any other government agency with your name attached to it.

Application will be open for 5 weeks, from February 21, 2023 to March 31, 2023 at 11:59pm.

Applications will be reviewed for 4 weeks, from April 1, 2023 to April 28, 2023.

Decisions and payments will be sent by mid June.

Washington Residency

You must be a Washington State resident with the ability to provide verification documentation.

Have Children

How to apply to the WA Family Relief Fund

How to Apply

Before you apply, you should:

1. Gather the required documents providing proof of identity and residence in Washington. You can review the list of approved materials at wafamilyrelief.org/#required-documents
2. Calculate your 2022 after-tax income.

To apply, you should:

1. Click the "Apply Now" button on this website, this will take you to the application page.
2. Create a Scholar Fund account. You will only need to provide your email address and set up a password.
3. Complete all of the application questions. You can save your application and come back at any time.
4. Once you are finished with your application, you will receive a confirmation text message and email with your Submission ID. Please save your Submission ID in a safe place as you will need it to check the status of your application or if you need support from our support team.

After you apply, you should: Check your email inbox or your junk email folder for your confirmation. You will also get a text message confirmation the day you submit your application. You may log back into your King County Immigration Fee Support account and check to see if your application is being reviewed and if you are awarded funds. Please only submit your application one time. ‍‍

If you need to update or correct an error on your application after it has been submitted, please submit a new application with your updated information.

Required Documents

Identity and Residency: You will need to upload documents to confirm your identity and your connection to Washington. The table below provides a list of documents you can use.

Please select one item from List A (Identity and Residency) OR one item from both List B (Identity) and List C (Residency) to upload. Make sure the copy is clear and readable.
